How much does the Bark app cost?

Bark offers two plans:

  • Bark Premium: $14/month or $99/year. This plan includes comprehensive monitoring for social media, phones, tablets, and computers, along with screen time management, content filtering, and location tracking.

  • Bark Jr: $5/month or $49/year. This plan provides features such as screen time management, content filtering, and location tracking but does not include full social media or extensive content monitoring.

Both plans come with a 7-day free trial.

What features are included with the Bark Phone?

The Bark Phone features:

  • Unlimited Talk and Text: Available with all plans.
  • Data Options: Plans range from no data to 8GB of data, depending on the subscription.
  • Tamper-Proof Controls: Ensures settings cannot be disabled.
  • App and Website Blocking: Allows control over which apps and websites can be accessed.
  • Location Tracking: Provides GPS tracking and alerts.
  • Custom Screen Time Limits: Set and enforce screen time restrictions.

Monthly subscription prices start at $39, which includes a Bark Premium subscription. Higher tiers are available based on data requirements.

Can Bark monitor content on all devices?

Bark supports monitoring on:

  • Mobile Devices: iPhones, iPads, Android phones, and tablets.
  • Computers: Laptops, desktops, and Chromebooks.
  • Tablets: Amazon Fire tablets.

The Bark app must be installed on mobile devices, while desktop monitoring requires either the Bark Desktop App or Bark Home for iOS devices.

Is the Bark Phone available outside the U.S.?

Currently, the Bark Phone is available only in the U.S. The Bark app is accessible in South Africa, Guam, and Australia. Plans for expanding availability to other regions are in progress.

How does Bark ensure the security of my child's data?

Bark employs SSL encryption for its website and stores all analyzed data in an encrypted database to protect user information, including children's online activity, from unauthorized access.
